I could not wait to photograph my good friend Larissa & her beautiful family! Her gorgeous son Gabriel was born in September and I was so excited to finally meet the little guy! We had talked about the shoot months prior and Larissa knew she didn’t want the usual ‘stuff my baby in the basket photo’, so we talked about doing a documentary lifestyle session. As a new mom, Larissa was still adjusting to life with an infant and was worried that it would be difficult to photograph Gabriel because he had a bit of colic, but clearly this child is a little ham and knows how to work the camera! We started off the shoot with just Larissa and the baby until the boys got home. Larissa had told me about these cool art murals all around her Queens neighborhood so we wrapped up the shoot with some Xmas card worthy photos too! Here are some of my favorites from their session!
