I met Nicol & John for the very first time at their engagement session. I knew from my first conversation with Nicol over the phone that we would hit it off. Both of them are super sweet and such a beautiful couple. On the day of the engagement session, the forecast called for heavy rain in Danbury where we had originally planned our shoot. Since John, a professional football player in Canada, was driving down for the weekend for our session, we didn’t have an option for rescheduling so Chamard Vineyard was actually a last minute venue change since they had a indoor option for us. Well, with a small mixup in communication, we ended up not being able to use the wine cellar after all due to a private event but luckily the rain held up just long enough for us to shoot all around the beautiful outdoor location of the venue. Chamard is definitely a new favorite spot for e-sessions…so much variety to work with. Seriously, just the red vintage pickup truck alone is so cool!
I always have an extremely hard time narrowing down my images for my blog posts. Nicol & John’s session was no exception. I have WAY too many favorites. Here we go…
